We utilize a welded structural aluminum frame and cover our awnings with a high quality corrugated panel. The long piece needs to be about 6 wider than your window.

The corrugated metal pieces are about 18 inches wide and interlock. Attach each one at both ends with 5 8 inch screws. They are a great way to protect your car without spending a lot of money on a garage.
