Excited to try my country ham this morning i realized that i didn t quite know what to do with it.
Cooking country ham slices in oven.
You will use this to help you cook the ham.
Heat a large skillet on top of the stove add a couple country ham slices and cover the skillet with a lid.

Place slices in skillet turning lean part of ham away from the hottest part of the skillet.
Heat oven to 325 degrees.

Add tsp of butter to the pan and immediately place the slice of country ham down on the butter.
Fry slowly for 4 to 8 minutes.
Baking sliced country ham pre heat oven to 325 degrees.

Stack ham slices and cut into 1 2 inches.
Turn the heat down to medium cook on one side for about 2 1 2 minutes turn the slices over and cook 21 2 minutes on the other side.
Place the ham slices into the baking dish and cover the dish with foil.
After cooking remove from oven and allow ham to cool in water in which it cooked.
