Clean Grass Stains Off Concrete

Often you can remove a brand new stain with only household cleaner and water.

Use a nylon brush to scrub it away. Rinse the brush regularly and refresh the cleaning solution as necessary. Flush the area with clear water to help remove cleaning solution residue and dislodged grass. Pour some of the sudsy water on top of the stained area.

Wet the scrub brush with warm water and apply a few squirts of the soap to the bristles. Spray them with oven cleaner. This will help remove any remaining debris from the surface. Wet the stained concrete with plain water.

Using a solution of 1 gallon water 1 4 cup washing soda and 1 4 cup borax applied with a nylon bristle brush scrub grass stained area with moderate pressure. Begin by sweeping away any loose grass or dirt. Damp concrete will allow the cleaning agent to permeate better. Don t rub the surface it will drive the stain further into the concrete.

Light stains sweep any loose grass dirt or debris from the concrete surface. Combine the washing soda or detergent with water in the bucket. Let it sit on the wet stain for about 10 minutes or so then scrub in a circular motion. I was afraid that all that acid would kill the grass growing against the concrete so i gave it a soaking for about an hour with a little sprinkler to dilute all that acid runoff.

Steps to remove the stains. Scrub smaller areas with a scrub brush. 8 8 the grass did die a few inches away from the concrete but seems to be coming back two weeks later. To make an easy cement floor cleaner apply a thick coating of the baking soda to the stained area of the concrete floor and let sit for approximately 30 minutes.

Scrub a mixture of dish soap and water on to the stain and rinse it off using high pressure from a garden hose with a nozzle. For larger areas it will be helpful to utilize a sturdy broom. Get those unsightly grease oil and transmission fluid stains off your concrete driveway or garage floor. It this doesn t work repeat using oxiclean instead of dish soap.

Scrub the stained area with a stiff scrub brush. Mix 1 4 cup of laundry detergent into a bucket filled with a gallon of water. For large spills apply spill absorbent to the area and let it sit for 24 hours. Let it settle for 5 10 minutes then scrub with a stiff.
